BA & GM Haddock have traded as a freelance partnership since 1986.

We cover all aspects of medical and scientific publishing from accepted manuscripts to typeset final pages on disk for the professional printer. We have been Managing Editors for several journals and would be pleased to run the referee/approval process with an Editor.

Bruce Haddock BSc(Hons) PhD. University of Bristol. Specialized in bacterial genetics, genetic engineering, photosynthesis and mechanisms of energy transfer and storage. Postdoctoral work in Cologne, Germany. Previously Reader in the Department of Biochemistry, University of Dundee and then Deputy Research Director of Biogen SA, Geneva, Switzerland.

Gill Haddock BSc(Hons) PhD. Biochemistry, St Andrews University, PhD from London University in Neurochemistry. Specialized in protein purification, anticonvulsant drugs, insulin, role of calcium in synaptosomes and mechanism of heat generation in brown adipose tissue. Postdoctural research in Department of Psychiatry, Ninewells Hospital and Medical School, Dundee and the Department of Biochemistry, University of Dundee. Worked full-time as Technical Editor in Churchill Livingstone, Edinburgh and WHO in Geneva.

Brian O’Neill, MA, PhD, C.Psychol, AFBPS
Business Psychologist

Brian O’Neill is a chartered psychologist and an associate fellow of the British Psychological Society. He has worked as a psychologist and senior manager with British Airways, Canada Post Corporation, Ontario Hydro, the Bank of Nova Scotia, and the Federal Government of Canada. He also taught at the University of Western Ontario and practiced for a time in clinical psychology. He co-directs and delivers development programmes in leadership, relationship management, facilitation skills, conflict management and coaching for middle, senior and top executives. Brian also specializes in management assessment and appraisal, group facilitation, individual coaching and counselling for executives, attitude research and other kinds of organizational research.

dScribe Electronic Publishing Solutions provides Internet solutions, enabling clients to acquire real time demographic data from users and store the data in fast access databases. These databases can be analysed in real time and viewed as charts and graphs. Users can receive dynamic feedback from their responses in a variety of ways: they may receive email notification, view their responses in relation to others’, and so forth.

These programs are developed in a variety of programming languages and are aimed at providing a secure (by using login passwords, SSL certificates) and comfortable environment for entering data.

Eric Briggs has 30 years’ experience of programming in many different languages and disciplines: 10 years in real-time data acquisition and process control for an engineering research facility; 8 years of programming for accounting and stock control systems;12 years in publishing, writing dictionary compilation systems, medical electronic publishing, and dynamic internet programming.
